I'll give you a brief run down on the team.
Catcher is mostly manned by Mike Zunino, a young stud who can potentially hit a ball out of the stadium (if he makes contact). His pitch framing is extraordinary giving our pitchers more called strikes than they probably should get.
1b is a trouble area currently manned by the off injured Logan Morrison. He's an alright hitter and alright defender, if he doesn't die half way through a season. Oh, and he once made a comment about something smelling like big foot's dick.
2b is manned by the Spanish god of thunder, Robinson Cano. He's been the best second baseman over the past many years. He's getting older and might not be the best for long, but for now he's amazing. He cost us 240 million dollars but he makes everything look sexy.
Ss will be a battle between two young study men. Chris Taylor hits like an elderly woman but has the defensive wizardry to make your panties wet. While Brad Miller has great offensive potential, he's only an OK defender at the very best.
3b is reserved for old school, kyle seager. He's got the bat, he's got the glove, and he's got the heart of Seattle.
Rf is split between Seth Smith and Justin Ruggiano. Both are decent fielders, one hits right handed pitching well while the other hits left handed pitching well.
Cf is manned by Austin Jackson, he was one of the better cf in baseball but slumped hard last year once we traded for him. We hope that was a fluke and he will bovine a great player again.
Lf is manned by two second baseman who can't play second anymore. Dustin Ackley was an above average defender while Rickie Weeks hasn't played the outfield in 10ish years. Again, one hits right handed pitching while the other hits left handed pitching.
Our pitching staff...
Sp - Felix Hernandez, the king, one of the best pitchers in baseball and future hall of famer. Hisashi Iwakuma, the bear, old reliable... Walks nobody, strikes out plenty, and is a very solid pitcher. James Paxton, fireball thrower who performed amazingly in his rookie season before minor injuries got to him. JA Happ, innings eater who has been throwing harder and harder recently he won't do a ton for the team but he shouldn't hurt either. Then the last spot is a battle between the prince, Taijuan Walker, and Roenis Elias. Both pitched well last year, Walker has more potential but needs more work.
Rp - Yoervis Medina, funky cold Medina, average relief pitcher. Charlie Furbush, solid relief pitcher. Tom Wilhelmsen, the bartender, has the most interesting story... Started off serving drinks then was our closer, then struggled hard, and now found his footing as a good long relief pitcher and club dancing machine. Danny "lord" Farquhar should be our closer as he's the best relief pitcher we have, but he isn't getting paid enough to do it (his words, I asked him when I saw him at spring training last year). Finally Fernando Rodney, our closer. He brings the heat which can make you sweat as every night is a roller coaster ride with him. When he gets the save he shoots an arrow into the sky like a boss.
