Not sure i'm understanding your logic here. Wheeler went 5 innings and gave up 4 ER's, while Verlander went 5 innings and gave up 5 ER's. It doesn't matter at what point in the game you're talking about, Wheeler got rocked early but then settled down where Verlander was the opposite and looked dominant first three innings only to get rocked in the 4th and the 5th. Still a better start from Wheeler.

Also what does "this series shouldn't even be close" mean? That's the Phillies motto all playoffs i guess? Every team they play "Phillies magical run ends here" and they've beaten everyone 2-0, 3-1, and 4-1. Now the Astros play in Philly for three games where they haven't lost in the playoffs and play in front of the most rowdy fan base in baseball.

Can not WAIT to see the signs and chants towards the Astros over the next three games. You best believe the trash can costumes will be out tonight LOL

My wife and I are looking into flying to Houston on Wednesday night to see the Eagles play the Texans on Thursday night, and then go to game 6 on Friday (if necessary ofc). Would LOVE to get to a game 7 but just hard to plan out logistically booking a flight and all, don't want to get out there and not have a game to see lol.

Game 6 is pretty likely to happen, i can't see either team sweeping the next three games. I think Phillies win 2 of 3 though and then it goes back to Houston 3-2 with a chance to clinch game 6. Would be epic to see them win it all in Houston and be at the game. Might end up buying standing room for a game 7 if that happened since i would be out there until Sunday either way.

Also enjoying the ride of philly sports right now; its a surreal feeling.

Tonight was pathetic. After last night, they come out and get no hit for the 2nd time this season. On the biggest stage of them all. Just so frustrating and embarrassing.

Besides harper whos hitting well over .350, nobody is even cracking .240. 2nd highest avg this postseason is jt, think it was .236 or something. These guys need to come out swinging tm early and often. Get to verlander again, keep him winless during the WS.

Jean segura , where the fuck has he been since early in the playoffs. After his go ahead hit, after his costly error, hes been virtually invisible.

Syndy on the mound tm, not sure how i feel about it after seeing eflins stuff tonight. He looked filthy.
Must win tomorrow imo.
