ROYALS!! Never watched a team pull off miracle after miracle after miracle (always after the 8th) for two seasons straight.... If you don't enjoy watching games like this, you're either a Mets fan, or not a fan of the game..

As good as he's been all season, Terry Collins blew this game. Kept Matz in too long and kept Clippard in for too long.

Game isn't over yet though

Mets biggest achilles heal all season has been the bullpen and defense, not surprised it's what happened

Kept Clippard in too long?

Two batters? Two walks that combined for 17 pitches? Those are just good at bats. Clippard is damn good, didn't do anything wrong really. Hard to say he was kept in too long... Especially given that Familia came in and didn't do shit

correct on clippard

The Matz thing Greet was right about because even the announcers were speculating about it when he was up for his final at bat

but clippard, you'd have an easier time arguing he should have faced one more batter than one fewer
