Phillips (head) has been scratched from the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Giants, the Reds' official Twitter page reports.
Recommendation: Apparently Phillips was unable to reach a point where he felt better than "OK," so Miguel Cairo will get the start at second base. It doesn't seem Phillips is seriously hurt, but the team may feel he needs further evaluation. Consider him day-to-day and questionable to return Friday.
