Dirk Nowitzki and several of his Dallas Mavericks teammates, along with his head coach Rick Carlisle and owner Mark Cuban, will be a part of a celebrity baseball game that will take place at Frisco's Dr. Pepper Ballpark June 30.
"Dirk Nowitzki's 2012 Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game" will be played later this month where the Double-A RoughRiders play their home games. Mavericks players Jason Terry, Delonte West and Brian Cardinal, along with team president Donnie Nelson, will participate in the game. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Dirk Nowitzki Foundation and the Heroes Foundation.
Joining the Mavericks will be Daryl "Moose" Johnston, who helped the Dallas Cowboys win three Super Bowls, former Cowboys safety Roy Williams, former Texas Ranger Kevin Mench, and Arlington native Ben Grieve, a former Major League outfielder. FC Dallas players Ugo Ihemelu and Brek Shea are also set to play in the celebrity game.
Rolf that's gonna be one sad game to watch.
