Oh btw

Only 4 games back in the NL east

That massive lead for the Braves is gone. The Phillies are coming boys 🔥

The Phillies are the first team in MLB history to hit a go-ahead HR in the 9th inning in three straight games.

Started 9-19

38-18 since then (when Don took over)

Best first half turnaround in MLB history.

Phillies absolutely OWN Paul Skenes

Second start in a row of his vs Phillies where they absolutely tee off on him 🤣🤣🤣

Luzardo named as an All-Star as well. First of his career.

Remember when he was getting blasted earlier in the season and I told yall his FIP was good and he'd be fine that he was just unlucky? 😎

7.94 ERA through the first 4 games of the season.
Since then? 13 starts with a 2.65 ERA.

But....where's Wheeler? I guess because he pitches Sunday he turned it down? 8-1 with a 2.36 ERA and 0.94 WHIP (and 3.8 bWAR despite missing the first month).

I'm still confident on their starting rotation. Things will settle when wheeler comes back. You have way more confidence in luzardo than I do

Got rid of ranger for this POS Luzardo for whatever reason Sean loves

Starting rotation will be good, yes. Luzardo has elite stuff, that's never the question, he just has mental lapses which he kept in check pretty well last season and had a great year. He has been fine this year, just a couple of innings where he has been incredibly unlucky. Dude already has 26 K's over 3 starts (to just 4 walks). His FIP this season is 2.34 which is the best of his career and among the best in baseball (2.90 was his career best last season). Luzardo is not a concern at all though, that FIP is a good indicator that he will be just fine.

Once Wheeler is back a rotation of Wheeler/Sanchez/Luzardo is about as good as it gets for top 3 starters come playoff time.

how about Luzardo now? Told you he'd be just fine. First All-Star selection of his career his season after a few unlucky starts to start the season. Dude has been absolutely dominant.

Wheeler/Sanchez/Luzardo a big 3 in the starting rotation as expected. 😎

MLB asked Wheeler to be on the All-Star team realizing they fucked up

And he told em to kick rocks

How do you leave one of the top 3 pitchers in baseball this season off the team? MLB done fucked up
