LA is just dominating the Cubs. It's a shame because the Cubs starting pitching has been pretty fantastic this series and all of the playoffs.
Our bullpen is just garrrrrbage. They're disgustingly bad. Carl Edwards JR couldn't throw a single strike to a pitcher who was not going to swing the bat.
Our hitting has been shit as well. They're playing uninspired IMO.
LA is a better team on paper, and the Cubs aren't even putting up a fight.
Yeah. It’s 2 really good teams running into each other. One team is well rested and on a hot streak, the other is struggling. Baseball is a streaky game, this is a prime example of one team streaking in the right direction and the other in the wrong.
Starting pitching for both has he fantastic. The difference is Dodgers are hitting and their bullpen is in another league compared to Cubs. If a Cubs starter has to leave in the 5/6th chances are LA gonna tag on a few runs. Where as if LA had a pitcher leave in the 5th, they have a stacked bullpen to come in and shut down.
