Arizona has one of the worst records in baseball, and I'd still be taking them over Detroit if Greinke was pitching against Aniballs Sanchez.

Record means shit 90% of the time.

The team with the better record wins more than the team with the worse record.. so I wouldn't say 90%.
Pitching matchups mean more than record, that's true though.

VERY often teams have a better record because they have a better starting staff. Baltimore is the one mystery.
