As we discussed before, nobody thought he'd get on base at a .450 clip rofl but around .400 is where he will finish.



Thread never said they'd be great this year...even during their hot streak, I said I'd be happy with 75 wins or hovering around .500

Phillies are a rebuilding team, and a few years away from contending again, as this thread indicates. Early season success was great, but they still weren't contenders lol. Still haven't called up their best prospects obviously, and free agency is going to be unreal since they're literally not on the books for anyone after Howard is gone.

Mark Appel out for season following elbow surgery (This guy is a huge bust)

Nick Williams (The headliner in the Cole hamels trade) has been pulled 3 times this month for lack of hustle

Even with Appel failing they stil got Vince he was the headliner of that deal IMO

Future All-Star shortstop JP Crawford will be called up eventually, maybe in the next few months.

nick williams will grow up eventually just some growing pains, he'll realize that non hustle shit doesnt fly in the majors

It will be nice to see him play in the Majors.

Fangraphs has him regressing all the way back to around .350 OBP.

I agree with them. He got really lucky early on and the law of averages is hurting him now.

Brah, as I pointed out before, his OBP the entire second half of last year (his rookie year) matched up with his pace this year...
