Although the new player development regime under Gary Denbo is starting to develop a reputation of helping players tap into extra velocity. They've done it with recent draftees like James Kaprielian, Jordan Montgomery and Chance Adams. Even guys that were traded to the org such as Chad Green. So I wouldn't be surprised to see him add a tick or two as he climbs the ladder.

Thats whats up, i cant wait 2-3 years and see where some of these guys stand talent wise then.. been a yanks fan since '95 and i have never been this excited to be patient lol

The most exciting part is most of these guys are very close to the majors. Judge, Frazier, Austin, and Sanchez are all in AAA or in MLB. Fowler, Andujar, Chance Adams, Gleyber, Mateo, Kaprielian, and Acevedo are all in AA or on the cusp of being moved up to AA. There's depth in the lower minors too with Rutherford and the kids from the International spending spree starting to get their feet wet.

sanchez in the past couple games looked solid af, i wonder what were going to do with mcCann cuse this kid deserves to sit behind the plate with that kinda canon he has. Judge i like his frame, looks like a cespedes type of outfielder, maybe not as good defensively but you know what i mean.. Only time will tell!!

I think the easy move would be to put Sanchez at backup catcher split catching duties with McCann. Sanchez can catch most of the time while McCann rotates between C/1B/DH.

Judge is actually a really really good defensive player. He played CF at Fresno St. and can still fill in there from time to time. He is a lot more atheltic than his monster frame would lead you to believe. He also has a cannon for an arm much like Cespedes.



Interesting. Can't imagine him leaving all that money on the table. If anything they might have reached a buy-out agreement.

That's what I would imagine.. can't see any other option for a press conference than he's announcing he's retiring.
