Cardinals' patented strategy of beaning the shit out of Hanley didn't work tonight, even though they may have sidelined him for a while the filthy cocksuckers.

I hate this team so much, even more than the Giants (at the moment).

Kershaw wasn't extraordinary tonight but still had a solid inning on the road against the Cardinals and was just a bad pitch or two from posting a damned fine outing (although not as dominating as the other games).

Brewers suck, what a shitty team, only good thing about them is their badass announcer.

Yea I don't think they were hitting Hanley on purpose. Id be pissed too though. The way Rosenthal has been throwing, if he was trying to hit Hanley he couldn't. Dude is so iffy this season.

Kershaw is stud. That home plate ump was squeezing him bad, cardinals too. But that 2 run homer was from borderline strikes not being called. He was given no corners.

Didn't seem intentional but the bottom line is they hit the same player twice because they pitch him that way. Seemed like they almost hit Kemp, as well, but they weren't hitting Hanley with slower breaking balls they were hitting him with high fastballs. I imagine the Dodgers will peg someone this series, couldn't afford to have Kenley do it in the ninth and put the tying runner on and losing your closer.

And Kershaw didn't get shit that game, you're right, what's his face went 10 pitches and then, as you said, Bourjos hit the homer with 2 strikes but it is what it be.

I'm still kind of impressed with the Cardinals' pitching, every fucking guy they have throws 97 or higher, it's crazy.

I saw the Dodgers with a 1-0 lead in the top of the 2nd on ESPN and figured it was over with Clayton Kershaw pitching.

Me too.

Cardinals don't seem as strong this year, last year they hit some retarded number with RISP, like .300+ collectively (for a NL team that is even more impressive) and they aren't doing that again this time around.

Good rivalry though.

Yea it was around .350 I thought. Well Craig has regressed, Molina is hurt and wasn't as offensively minded so far this year, carpenter isn't quite as strong, abd Holliday struggled. It's characteristic of the cardinals to somehow be above .500 with alot of key guys underperforming, and hit the playoffs hot. Just gotta get there first.

How bad is Yasiel Puig's hand? Is he supposed to return soon?
