I usually play 1 game per series so I can at least make it through a couple seasons

I play a game here and there but stats get so inflated when you play so it's dumb. Simulation gives a better balance. In MVP I compress two 150 season franchises in 7 years lol.

Stats won't get too inflated if you configure your sliders correctly in my experience. Sometimes I edit players around the league so they don't get "video game numbers" and autowin MVP every year. Like a few years ago A-Rod was 99 in like every stat and would hit .370/80/170 with 50 SB and shit lol.

I noticed they are getting better at it every year too--even if you are not running sliders.
Each year the stats are more realistic imo
