Sim...
Random but I always disliked Yankee teams in the past, I just never liked the demeanor of the team and the fans.
But for some reason I really really enjoy watching this Yankee team and end up rooting for them in most games. Seems for whatever reason that this team is very humbled.
Random thought but I'd figure that I'd put it out there... Maybe part of it is that the Mets aren't the trash of the league anymore and that baseball is New York seems to be getting rejuvenated.
edit: If you're ever in the area and want to go to a game, hit me up. I get GREAT seats for free... like 5-6 rows behind the Yankees dugout. The best seats I've ever been to during a sporting event.
Yeah, this is one of the most likeable Yankees teams that I can remember. All the guys seem to get along, great mix of young guys and veterans, and most of all they're winning games.
I appreciate the gesture but I don't plan on going back to NY for a while. I have some huge business plans in the works that will probably end up with me moving out of LA so I won't be having much free time. If I ever do go back out there, I'll def be hitting a lot of you guys up(Tek, you, Rohan, etc).

I meant for the whole baseball is rejuvenated in NY thing. He doesn't listen to NY sports radio. I would find it highly doubtful that he even regularly talks to a single mets fan in real life.
Also, as far as the Mets aren't trash part; the Mets were good 10 years ago and it was peak Mets fan hating the Yankees time period. It has more to do with the Yanks not being all that good in recent years and moreso that there have actually been years where the entire offseason wasn't about whether the Yanks were going to win the World Serious.
I know exactly one Mets fan IRL lol.
