Houston once got to the 2005 World Series with three auto outs of Adam Everett, Brad Ausmus and the pitcher's spot. That was even much worse offensively than what the Rockies have at the bottom of their order right now. They're stacked 1-6 and always lead the league in runs scored at home -- a hitter's paradise. Barry Zito hasn't been good in a long time. No excuse for them to be trailing 4-0 in the bottom of the 4th. I'm still hoping they can mount a rally.
Stacked 1-6? Dexter Fowler couldn't hit a bus at this point. Cargo always starts out slow, Scutaro is alright, Tulo's been alright, Helton is alright but can't play everyday, Cuddyer has been the only actual productive hitter so far this year.
There's been zero situational hitting in the 4 games so far. None.
Also the Astros were carried by their pitching and the killer B's in 2005. Not even close to an accurate comparison.
Yes, I'm made as fuck.
