i agree. i like the incentive-based contract, something like 6yr/110mil with optional money for staying clean and performance bonuses

Sounds great to me. I don't really care if he gets hurt every now and then. The overall impact he has on the season is huge. And he only gets hurt b/c he gives it his all....I love the passion that Josh Hamilton plays with.

Exactly. People don't put into perspective WHY he gets injured so much.
It is because he puts everything he's got onto the field into every play, which is why he is such an outstanding player.
The harder you play, the more injury prone you will be.
