Probably wouldn't be the best use of resources(cost to acquire) but it would literally be a 5 inning game lol.

Yankees have 3 legitimate set-up men(Wilson/Shreve(how great has this guy been?)/Warren) and two legitimate closers(Dellin/Miller) already so I'd prefer if they use the prospects to go out and get a 2B since they don't want to give Refsnyder a real chance to prove himself. Up and down the roster, upgrading 2B should clearly be the top priority(mercy on Stephen Drew although he'd be a pretty cool utility guy.

yeah 2B is definitely their biggest problem, maybe a top starter too.. I heard refsnyder had an attitude problem though

they've gotten a lot of production out of guys they needed to imo.. didi has been better than I thought he would be

Guessing Cash will be quiet at the deadline, which I am perfectly fine with. Sure Chapman would be nice for a 7-8-9 shutdown game but bullpen is the least of our concerns. I honestly don't like to think about giving up prospects such as Judge, Sanchez, etc.. for a mediocre second basemen utility infielder. I think our starting pitching is fine, if a couple of the big names like Hamels, Price, or Cueto don't get traded, then I could see us bidding for one of those typical Yankees contracts in FA.

Hamels isn't a FA bro. And even if price or Cueto got traded, Yankees could still bid those contracts in FA lmao
