He looked really really good. Gave up a leadoff single to DeJesus to start the game but then retired 15 straight. Had trouble locating the splitter earlier but got better as the game went on. His best pitch today was probably his fastball, surprisingly. Broke a lot of bats and had like 4 strikeouts looking on the 2-seamer. He could have probably gone the distance but sat for over 30 minutes in the big inning where the Yanks scored all the runs so Girardi took the safe route.
