I'm still confident on their starting rotation. Things will settle when wheeler comes back. You have way more confidence in luzardo than I do though

It's the offense that will sink this team.

Starting rotation will be good, yes. Luzardo has elite stuff, that's never the question, he just has mental lapses which he kept in check pretty well last season and had a great year. He has been fine this year, just a couple of innings where he has been incredibly unlucky. Dude already has 26 K's over 3 starts (to just 4 walks). His FIP this season is 2.34 which is the best of his career and among the best in baseball (2.90 was his career best last season). Luzardo is not a concern at all though, that FIP is a good indicator that he will be just fine.

Once Wheeler is back a rotation of Wheeler/Sanchez/Luzardo is about as good as it gets for top 3 starters come playoff time.

But yeah, good starting rotation and bullpen and an unpredictable offense per usual. Harper and Schwarber b2b HR today thoughn👏

I'm pretty sure like 85% of the Phillies runs this season are via HR. That's NOT good at all.

Got rid of ranger for this POS for whatever reason Sean loves

The whole front office needs to go. This team is average.

Were you saying this when he pitched well in the playoffs?

Cmon lol. Don't ride the weather like that. Horrible game but it happens. Luzardo tends to go on stretches where he looks bad then stretches where he looks very good.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the offense still hasn't shown up lol

Never liked him. He likes to blow up.

The offense isn't going to show up. I've already commented plenty on that

Didn't blow up when it mattered most.

He's an elite talent who has to get his mental state in check. Tipped pitches a lot last season too but once he got that under control did very well.

Still early. Like we said, pitching will be fine long term. Offense ehhhh but then again a lot of teams have the same issue.
