The Chris Carter error at first base. LOL. He made the error with two outs and nobody on base. And then the Angels scored 3 runs.

that was no more an error than that double one of ur players got yesterday that aybar couldnt catch in the OF and was ruled a double...
so lame...

not to mention richards' error that happened and he got credited with all 3 ER's that ensued. even tho 1st and 3rd, guy scores and guy on 1st gets to 3rd on 1 error... i dont know how he got charged with all those runs..

Chris Carter sucks. I've been trying to have some hope for this guy but I know Jon Singleton can out-perform him. Maybe we can sign Kendrys Morales in a few weeks when teams don't have to give up a compensation pick for him. He can DH for us and be a vast improvement. Then call up Jon Singleton to play first base every day along with Domingo Santana in left field. All of a sudden our dead beat middle of the order would look respectable.

I'm talking about signing him to a multi-year deal. 3 or 4 years. The Astros have tons of money to spend. They finished second in the bidding for Jose Abreu but the White Sox were able to snag him in the past off-season. One of the drawbacks to potentially signing Kendrys Morales this past winter would have been the Astros would have owed the Mariners their first overall pick in the second round, of the upcoming draft in two weeks, as compensation.

no way morales would sign a multi year deal with the stros almost 3 months into the season when u guys have been a 100+ loss team for X amount of years..
if he turned down a qualifying offer from the M's, hes obv looking for something good on a good team. no offense, but i dont see u guys even making the playoffs for like 3 years. and it would be foolish for u guys, or anyone, to sign him longer than 3 years anyways.

edit: also, who signs a guy to a 3-4 year deal (after a freak injury that took 1.5 years of his career), and that hasnt played all season? thats a huge risk.

Kennedy, I'll be happy watching us draft more top prospects with the first pick in every round regardless.

Our starting rotation is going to be filled with young guys with lively stuff in the next year or two.
