If we can at least go 10-10 in these next 20 games we should be in decent shape as the schedule gets much easier after. The schedule in May is nowhere near as difficult as the schedule in April and hopefully we can get Matusz back sometime in May. Hardy likely won't be ready until June but who knows maybe if he heals quickly we can see him sometime near the end of the month.

Journeyed over to the OH during class this morning and there is a pretty interesting topic about Matt Wieters.

Turns out that when he is behind in the count he is worse than Cesar Izturis when he is behind in the count and he is one of the worst hitters in baseball in that situation. He hasn't hit one HR when he is behind in the count and I think he only had like 5 doubles or somewhere close to that.

There is no god. Oh, yeah, good think Hardy will only miss a few weeks.

not surprised. he just tries to make contact with the ball and not drive it. which usually makes him ground out.

Don't really know how someone can show so much promise and be so dominant until he is called to the majors and then be as bad as Wieters has been. I said his bat looked slow and doubted he would ever actually be a .300/30HR hitter when he first got called up over at OH. By the time I refreshed the topic 5 minutes later the thread was locked, about 10 people called me a moron and said I had no idea what I was talking about, and I was called a troll. Now they all say his bat is slow over there and doubt he will ever be a .280/20HR hitter let alone a .300/30HR hitter ... LOL.
