i thought that too in that TB game. we had 2 hits thru 5 innings.

edit: in fact we had 2 hits thru 5.2 innings, had a 2 out rally and scored 2 in the 6th, then 4 in the 9th.

Astros will add more runs to pad the lead then. LOL. I don't want to see them lose this game.

I expected a 3-7 road trip. Would be nice to get to 1-0 on it.

uhg, this is no bueno.

Mike Trout is 0-for-3 tonight. His batting average is under .260. Alan Ashby on the Astros TV play-by-play is shocked and surprised that Trout isn't hitting .320 or higher. Six shutout innings for Dallas Keuchel. He's at 88 pitches so he probably won't go a full nine innings tonight. Hopefully he'll at least pitch seven innings. Our bullpen will come in but at least it's a 5-0 lead. And the Angels big boppers aren't really doing much damage tonight. Pujols has a single.

i missed it

Happened right before the final two outs of top of the 7th. Foul ball off the bat of George Springer. He grounded into a double play on the next pitch.

Dallas Keuchel threw 108 pitches and 106 pitches in his last two starts. Perhaps he can pitch 8 innings tonight.

He has a two-hit shutout through seven innings tonight... He's at 99 pitches total. 8 strikeouts. No reason to take him out.

Dallas Keuchel hasn't allowed a run over his last 19.2 innings.

damn if we get shutout again this will be the 2nd time this homestand, when we hadnt been shut out for like ~100 games dating back to july of last season. O.o
