I think it's a good decision. An ace-type starter is way more valuable than a closer. That's if he can succeed as a starter ofc. If not, then they have a fallback plan, worth a shot.

Well yeah, no question about it. If he shows no flaws from his mechanics and his performance overall during this Spring and going into the regular season, i'll definitely take what I said back.
The last thing you want though is taking a risk of throwing away his young confidence at such an early age and possibly end up being a walking machine in the middle innings of games.

/e: I really think they should have ran him out as a starter in his MLB debut instead of relief if they wanted him to be a starter all this time as we know.

I love neftali as a starter, Seeing how our rotation is thin with some question marks.

I think Ogando can really be a great closer for us, and if given the oppurtunity to close I think he will make great strides.

I think he can do it. Cj did it.

Feliz needs to develop another pitch before he gets put in the rotation. his fastball is ++, his curve is good, but really no other pitch. he claims he has a change-up, but didn't see it at all last year (thats the kind of pitch that takes a descent amount of time to master, so maybe next year). 2 pitches won't cut it, unless your curve is like Bert Blyleven's or someone similar

Not bad, only one walk in 2 innings. Most importantly no runs.
