richards looks wild. sadface..

Dallas Keuchel is dealing. He's stringing together some quick 1-2-3 innings over his recent starts. It's hard to believe even with a win tonight and 5-1 in their last 6 games the Astros will still be 17-28 overall. Not even 10 games under .500. So I'm not sure what to make of this recent turn around. I wish it had came a few weeks sooner so our 2014 season wouldn't have been completely over standings wise. But I like the baseball I'm seeing lately.

Ah man. Dexter Fowler is thrown out at second base before George Springer scored. 4-0 Astros in the middle of the 2nd. They should have taken a 5-0 lead but Fowler will be credited with an RBI single and not a two-run double. I like the aggressiveness but in that situation there wasn't a need to stretch a single into a double.

EDIT: It would have been a two-run single for Dexter Fowler if he wasn't being greedy.

5 earned runs and 8 hits allowed for Garrett Richards. He was 4-0 with a 2.42 ERA entering this game.

No Felix Hernandez treatment. All earned runs despite one error. No love from the Angels scoreboard guy.

Albert Pujols breaks up Dallas Keuchel's no-htter with a 1 out single in the bottom of the 4th.

Six strikeouts. Trout has an AL leading 56 strikeouts this season.

61 pitches through four scoreless innings.

I don't know if Dallas Keuchel can pitch another complete game shutout like he did in his last start against the Rangers.

I'm not even sure the last Astros starter to do that? I'm thinking Roger Clemens in 2004 but I could be wrong.

it wont be a shut out, we just need to get to ur pen. this happened to us game 1 against the rays and we got to their pen and walked-off 6-5.

Did you see that sensational play by Jose Altuve? Running into shallow right center, 360 movement, still got enough strength on the throw for the out at first base.

No way the Angels will score if Keuchel goes the distance. Five shutout innings now. Seven Ks
