Not surprising. You'll like him, but another guy getting paid over 15mil on your team.

It also probably means Gardner is moved to left field again. Shame, he did a nice job last season in center.

Yep. Sad, but there's no way they get him and stick to their guns about 189. I honestly would much rather have Ellsbury at this price than Cano at what it would cost to sign him.

That being said, lol @ all of the red sox fans acting like this isn't a huge deal for them. We just signed their best player from last year.

I've always HATED Ellsbury because he was so good so at least we got a great player back..... but it still sucks...

I was ecstatic about the McCann deal. Hate this Ellsbury deal but it's an improvement for sure. Just hope this means they're scrapping $189 and not that Cano will be gone.

We still have a ton of roster holes. Need at least 2 starting pitchers, a late innings reliever, and a RHB off the bench(no, Verndog is not that guy).

How's Pineda progressing on his stint coming back? Haven't heard much as of late.
Also, I think people are overreacting with the Jacoby deal, he will be a great asset for at least 3-4 seasons. We already are seeing the later stages of the CC and Teix long ass contracts.
The speed of Jacoby in the leadoff spot will be awesome.
