Brad Peacock needs a double play ball. Bases loaded and one out. He's starting to lose 4-5 MPH on his fastball.

Peacock self destructed. Mariners are going to win now. Kyle Seager owns us. Felix Hernandez may pick up a win now.

King Felix came out of the game. How good is Seattle's bullpen? The Astros are only down 4-3 in the bottom of the 6th.

Let me know who wins, Bryan. Almost time for the Rockets playoff game to start on ESPN.

George Springer is 0-for-5 with 4 strikeouts tonight. Tough game for the kid.

Should have just let him try to bunt with a runner on first base and one out in a 4-4 game in the bottom of the 9th.

4-4 game in the bottom of the 11th

Bases loaded and no outs for George Springer.

Chance for him to redeem himself with an 0-for-5 game and 4 strikeouts. He can win the game right here...

George Springer with the walk-off RBI single that deflected off Seager's glove at third base.

Astros win 5-4 in 11 innings!

We're 3-1 against the Mariners this year. Nice job, guys.

If you're going to hit 1-for-6 in a game it helps to have the game-winning hit in extra innings. LOL

Jon Singleton raked his league leading 10th home run in 28 games for the Triple-A Oklahoma City RedHawks last night.
It's killing me not seeing this guy starting at first base for the Astros. At worse, I expect a September call up this year.

People are starting to favor Aiken over Rodon. Anymore info on this?

Brady Aiken has drawn some buzz for sure but another guy the Astros may select number one overall next month is right-handed pitcher Tyler Kolek, a 6'5 and 250-pound, 100 MPH hard throwing high school senior from Shepherd, Texas high school. He's drawing comparisons to other hard-throwing Texans like Nolan Ryan, Roger Clemens and Kerry Wood. Weight is an issue for him but he's also raw and would be a project. Carlos Rodon is the most MLB ready of the bunch.

Tyler Kolek, 6'5 and 250

A standing-room-only crowd had filled quaint Jasper Baseball Stadium and spilled into the parking lot along the left-field line and in the section between the bullpen and the bleachers on the first-base side to see Shepherd High's Tyler Kolek, whose 100-mph fastball has been compared with the Ryan Express, face Silsbee in a playoff game.

Ryan, who had made the 2 1/2-hour trip from Houston with Astros manager Bo Porter and bench coach Dave Trembley to scout Kolek, caused a buzz as he found a seat behind home plate. Even the grizzled scouts, who have been following Kolek all season, shuffled aside so that Ryan and the Astros contingent could sit on the front row.

Personally, I'd still like to have Carlos Rodon just because he has electric stuff (fastball, slider, curve) and he's a lefty.

The Astros vs. Mariners is about to start in 30 minutes. Here's the lineup.
I hope we can improve to 4-1 against Seattle this year. Going to be tough.

1. Jose Altuve (R) 2B
2. Dexter Fowler (S) CF
3. Jason Castro (L) C
4. Matt Dominguez (R) 3B
5. Marc Krauss (L) 1B
6. Chris Carter (R) DH
7. Alex Presley (L) RF
8. Marwin Gonzalez (S) LF
9. Jonathan Villar (S) SS

Dallas Keuchel versus Hisashi Iwakuma is the starting pitching matchup.
