Idk, mlb trade rumors says that the talks have halted for now. I'm hoping they still don't sign him. I hope they still sign a pitcher and then trade for someone who can man center. Then they can use Saunders, Hart/Lomo in the corners and use Abraham Almonte as a 4th to rotate through all the OF slots when people need days off.

Sort of, his gastrointestinal problem is flaring up again and he wants to worry about staying healthy and living more than he wants to play baseball.
It's saddening to hear, not just because of the baseball side but because most Mariners fans loved watching Guti play with the ease and magic that he did when he was healthy.


Most likely nothing, but Walker is having his first bullpen session pushed back a day or two because he has a sore shoulder.
