Your question is silly. Pineda hasn't thrown a pitch at the MLB level in over a year is coming off MAJOR shoulder surgery. You should wonder if he can ever become a league average pitcher again, not an ace lol.

He was more of a #2-3 pitcher before the injury anyways. He doesn't have the elite command to compensate for his lack of a 3rd pitch.

Signed Scott Baker to a small minor league deal. Very respectable signing with good upside. We have made some good signings this off season, can't wait to see what else we do and hopefully it does not include Cruz at an absurd price.
