You already know Girardi is going to bat Jeter leadoff no matter what. I think he is going to bat Jeter leadoff vs Lefties(which I'm okay with), and 2nd vs Righties. Going to be GIDP central whenever we face RHP but it's inevitable.

Man, at this point, I dunno what to do about Jeter.
His bat is so slow and he can't even catch up to fastballs right down the middle anymore..

He needs to step it up big time.

He has actually been pretty damn good against lefties(.299/.405/.403). Most of his problems stem against righties(.246/.294/.297 yuck).

Yea he historically hits for a better average in the second have. I bet he finishes around .270.
