Which doesn't make sense at all; if they plan to contend next year; why trade Thor who's still signed through 2021 and cheaply still. Sure he's had a down year but he's got much higher upside to have a better year than Stroman does of repeating this year.

Mets are clueless if they trade for Stroman and then trade Syndergaard.


Edit: Not saying you're wrong either cuz I've heard those rumors; but they're just stupid if they actually do it. I could see Wheeler going since he's an upcoming FA and Stroman would just replace Wheeler.
