Also Greg Bird has 3 HR's in his first 3 AB's in Low-A tonight. He received the highest signing bonus of any draftee in 2011. He was drafted as a Catcher but that plan was quickly scrapped and now is relegated to 1B, which greatly hurt his prospect stock. Still, he has one of the best approaches in the system and has had a HUGE power surge over the last few months or so. He'll have to continue to really mash to become a top prospect and he's off to a nice start in his first season at full-season ball.
