9/23/13: Brandon Maurer fires strike two past Lorenzo Cain, then turns and prematurely walks around the mound as if it were strike three

LOL, what happened there? He's 4-8 with a 6.48 ERA on the season.



But he pitched really well in his last two starts against the Royals and Tigers. One earned run over seven innings with 6 Ks and 1 BB against the Royals. Two earned runs over five innings with 6 Ks and 2 BBs against the Tigers. When I saw him pitch against Houston the game before that he had looked awful and gave up five earned runs in three innings. Only 23 years old so maybe he has a bright future.

yeah he coached the season out and is now gone.

went to the same highschool with Maurer and played some baseball with him my lil brother played with him more since same grade and Gerrit Cole who was killing it for the Pirates was on the team as well


I seen Dan Wilson got a job for the minor league team catching coach
