Yea it could have gone either way, our bats (finally) got hot and the Rangers defense had a few miscues, also helped that both darvish and hamels were off in their starts. I'm just amazed the Rangers offense was so quiet, only 4 hits in tonights game and think the same in game 1?
Thank you for being a tolerable Jays fan and at least have some knowledge of how baseball works. I was really hoping Rangers would have pulled out yesterday's game and gotten Hamels/Darvish another shot. To me if they had lost yesterday's game with the pitching matchup as favorable as it was; they were in trouble. As good as Estrada/Happ were in games 1&2; I'd still favor Hamels/Darvish in any pitching matchup.. would have been fun to watch.
Regardless, I didn't think the Rangers had any shot game 3 with Colby Lewis vs Sanchez; they needed to win at least one of Hamels/Darvish's starts to bring it back around to them.. they didn't and the Bluejays took care of business in game 3 when they had the favorable matchup. Congrats to Jays fans.
