You can call it a joke all you want but baseball contracts are only up 60% while team revenue is up 120%.

I don't care what they make. It's irrelevant to me, but if you're charging top dollar to field shit, field a better team or reduce prices. NESN ratings are going way down for a reason.
Finishing last again is not an option for what the fans have to pay.

We gave him the option to opt out after year 3 or 4? Whatever it is, how fucking awful is that?
If he sucks, he'll just pick up the option. If he dominates, he'll opt out and get an even bigger pay day..
