Another single for Robinson Cano. Now one swing of the bat can win the game for them.

Corey Hart single. Ugh. Mariners have runners on 1st and 2nd base, no outs in the bottom of the 9th. Only down 3-2
I guess it was too good to be true. Looks like Josh Fields is about to blow this save attempt. Third straight game pitching.
Not sure why Bo Porter is overworking him but I guess the other options we have aren't that good. Justin Smoak batting.

Smoak struck out. But only one out and Kyle Seager up to bat. He hit a two-run homer in his last at bat.

Kyle Seager three-run homer to right field. Unbelievable.

Mariners win 5-3 to snap their eight-game losing streak.

Kyle Seager is the man. Props to him. Two home runs and 5 RBIs today. The big walk-off, three-run shot.

Josh Fields needed one off the bat of Kyle Seager but he found a hot zone in those last two at-bats. Single-handily beat the Astros today. Now here comes another long losing streak for the Astros. We start a four-game series against the Athletics tomorrow night. The Astros are 5-23 all time against the Athletics, including 0-3 this year and 4-15 last year.

Even though the Astros starting rotation has been pretty good in 2014 we're about to run into a buzz saw called the Oakland Athletics. I just want to see the Astros beat them once or twice in this four-game series starting tonight. Game 1 pitching matchup: Brett Oberholtzer (0-3, 3.04 ERA) versus Scott Kazmir (2-0, 1.65 ERA). I'm actually excited to see Scott Kazmir pitching tonight for Oakland. He's from Houston and about my age. I remember when he was in high school.

The Oakland Athletics just have our number. Josh Donaldson hit a two-run homer in the top of the 1st.
Bases loaded and one out, the Astros only answered back with one run in the bottom half. Not good.
Scott Kazmir will likely bear down and pitch a gem tonight. You have to get to him early in the game.

6-1 Athletics in the top of the 3rd. Alberto Callaspo just hit a moon shot. Two-run shot. It followed a Derek Norris RBI single.
We just can't defeat Oakland for the life of me. It's hard to have any hope when one team just dominates you every time.
