Oh nice. Two-run double for Jason Castro.

Astros lead 2-0 in the top of the 3rd. Nice to get on the board early.

George Springer better pick up this RBI. Nevermind. He walked. 3-1 pitch (high heater), he should have tried to hit his first MLB home run.

Marc Krauss hits a deep fly ball that is caught on the warning track in deep center field. Right on the wall. Just the Astros luck. They could have taken a 5-0 lead but instead they leave two men on base. Chris Young escaped in that inning. He was wild and throwing a lot of balls. Abraham Almonte teased me like he wasn't going to catch that blast. No joke at Safeco Field. 405 to 401 feet dimensions out there.

Robinson Cano breaks up Jarred Cosart's no-hitter with one out in the bottom of the 4th. Cano is getting paid the big bucks. He has three hits in this series and all of them have been excuse me singles (3-for-9 with 4 strikeouts, 1 walk). At least he hasn't beaten us or gotten too hot with the bat. He's 1-for-2 today and will likely bat two more times. He's going to get hot and tear the cover off the ball sooner or later.

Cosart picked up a nice double play ball. No damage done. Still 2-0 Astros in the top of the 5th
As long as our bullpen doesn't fall apart, which it hasn't in this series, I hope this sweep becomes a reality.

George Springer is a fine defensive right fielder. I didn't think he'd make that nice running catch. I've seen him make at least five or six fine plays in the field since he was called up. Another double play ball helped Cosart pitch out of the 5th inning. Shutout still in tact.

Jarred Cosart is breezing along. 6 shutout innings in the books. I would just leave him in 3 more innings for the complete game. He's at 81 total pitches. Bo Porter took Collin McHugh out after 86 pitches last night with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th despite a 3-hit shutout and 12 strikeouts. I mean really, our bullpen is garbage and I don't trust them with any lead.

Solo home run for Chris Carter. 3-0 Astros in the top of the 7th. Moon shot to left field. Wow!

Kyle Seager, hitting .153 going into the at-bat, hits a two-run homer off Jarred Cosart.

3-2 Astros in the bottom of the 7th.

Cosart is upset and threw his glove off. One bad pitch. Don't worry about it. Still can win this game.

Good effort by the kid. Bo Porter is taking Jarred Cosart out of the game with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th.

You can clearly hear Cosart yelling, "I want to stay in, F^ck!"on the CSN Houton telecast but he just gave up a bomb and was at 104 pitches total. Hopefully our bullpen can get the final seven outs. A one run lead is risky. We need to score more runs in the 8th or 9th just in case.

The Astros have played too hard lately not to complete this sweep.

Chad "Money" Qualls with a 1-2-3 bottom of the 8th, two strikeouts.

Robinson Cano is due to lead off the bottom of the 9th for Seattle which is huge (nobody on base). I'm nervous he's due for a home run.

Hopefully the Astros can add some insurance runs in the top of the 9th. Still holding on to that 3-2 lead.

Unbelievable. The Astros batted around for about 20 minutes in the top of the 9th and didn't score. They left two runners on base. Jason Castro was called out on strikes on a borderline pitch. Fernando Rodney threw about 30 pitches in that inning.

LOL. Oh well. One run lead going to the bottom of the 9th.

Superstar Robinson Cano leading off. Ugh. It would suck if we blow this game.

I'm not even sure who's coming in to close. We already overworked Josh Fields lately.

Low and behold, it is Josh Fields. My God. This guy is an ironman? Third straight game pitching and trying to notch another save.
