Yeah he's been playing in big league ST. He hasn't done great numbers wise but from what I've read he's been impressing in workouts etc. He's getting less playing time so I really don't think he'll make the team (thank god). Brandon Wood is probably the most likely player to make roster as starting 3B. He's been tearing up the spring and had been working with Tulo and Carney Lansford (hitting coach) on his swing every morning. They think they fixed some of the problems he had while he was with the Angels. Would be nice if he regained that super-prospect form

Plus Casey Blake (the other likely starter) has had a hurt neck (he had surgery on his neck earlier too)

think he might be called up after the super 2 deadline if he is doing well and wood struggles?

It's a possibility. There's still Chris Nelson, Jonathan Herrera, and Jordan Pacheco who can all play 3B so I wouldn't count on it. Though the team generally doesn't like using AAA as a development step either because Colorado Springs is like Coors Field in the 90s x2.

I'd say a September callup is almost guaranteed though.

I hope Pacheco can hit a stride in the MLB, kid has tore up the MiLB (although i guess he isnt a kid anymore)
