Here's a good article on what the Jays tried to do to AA.
Makes perfect sense why he left. And for those who don't like he was that good of a GM, please note how the article says that clubs will be eager to get him into their front office. The dude is a top GM.

i mean on the owner side. it makes sense to drop him. kuz there cheap bastards. u drop AA. hire a low rent shitter. we already have a solid base right. i get it. but when next year comes. and we go 50-100. ull know why.
