Jonathan Villar grounded out softly to the pitcher on a 3-2 count. We left the bases loaded. I hope our bullpen can hold a 3-run lead.

5-2 Astros in the middle of the 8th

Danny Farquhar got out of that inning only giving up one run.

Wow. Jose Altuve made a nice running catch in shallow right center field. He nearly collided with George Springer.

Who the heck is Brad Miller? Damn. Nice double. Almost left the ballpark for a home run. Anthony Bass is still pitching for the Astros.

Abraham Almonte just fishing for that 95 MPH heater. 13 strikeouts for Astros pitching tonight. Seattle has a lot of free swingers like we do.

Bass worked around the one out double. Good job. Still 5-2 going to the top of the 9th.

In fact, looking at Seattle's lineup. They have four guys hitting under .200 just like we do. HAHA

Yet they spent big money on superstar Robinson Cano. Was he really worth it? One guy can't do it by himself.

Robinson Cano has not impressed me at all in this series. Two total hits in the series (two singles in six at-bats, one walk). Very lazy effort running the bases and his defense has looked okay but nothing sensational. I wouldn't know he's won two gold glove awards judging by what I've seen. Yet he's making $24 million this season which is half our entire team payroll? He has one home run on the season. We can get practically the same things from Jose Altuve who's only making $880,000 this year.

He's due to break out at some point. I just hope it isn't tomorrow. I want to see Houston sweep Seattle and pass you guys in the standings.
