i dont understand... 7 seasons (as a yankee) of 30/100,including 2 AL MVP awards along with a WS title... worth the money to me IMO.

be awesome if pujols can do another 6 seasons of 30/100 in his 10 year contract, and a WS title would be worth the whole 10 year deal period...

That wasn't sarcasm. I think the 1 championship alone in a sport with no salary cap was worth that money.

i wasnt being sarcastic either. its debatable if 1 WS title is worth all this drama with a-rod (me personally i think it is, so does ppk, but others dont). so my point was at least u got 7 good years out of him (and 2 AL MVP awards) before he fell off.
