Lol dude. You risk just as much injury by NOT playing them for a week and taking them out of their routine. Absolutely play your starters so they stay in form.

Also, the Jays have already said they want best record in the AL because they play so much better at home.

People are forgetting its not just for homefield advantage...you also get to face the wildcard winner instead of a division winner for the ALDS.

omg John Gibbons is an idiot rested their best players for 2 games after clinching AL East.... Now we are going to lose AL pennant to Kansas cuz of Cueto going tomorrow and we are going to lose it... resting david price too what an idiot...
