How much does a torn acl affect a pitcher?

There isn't much of a history of pitchers with torn ACL's. I can't imagine it affects them much. Plus, Mo tore the ACL in his right knee so his plant leg(left) is still 100%.

I doubt it would impact him physically but it may have an impact mentally, knowing he is dying and falling apart.
