Leonys Martin grounded out. YESSS!!!!

Brad Peacock pitched out of a bases loaded and no outs jam despite not finding the strike zone.

0-0 game going to the top of the 11th

The Astros still have 1 hit for the entire game. Come on, we need some base runners!!!!!

The Astros will score sooner or later if the Rangers don't want to. :santa:

Matt Dominguez lead-off single in the top of the 11th. Both hits for the Astros tonight are singles by him.

Oh man, Bo Porter using L.J. Hoes to pinch run. Taking the only hot bat out of our lineup.

Brad Peacock is playing with fire again in the bottom of the 11th. Shin-Soo Choo singled and stole second base...

Peacock got Andrus to ground out though. Two outs. Can he pull another rabbit out of his hat?

Alex Rios popped up. Brad Peacock does it again!

0-0 going to the top of the 12th

Let's go Astros! Score a run. Get a runner on base. Do something good.

Rangers have left 15 men on base. The Astros have two hits in the game. LOL

Nooooo. Robinson Chirinos with a two-out RBI single to win the game 1-0 for the Rangers in the bottom of the 12th.
Astros drop to 4-7 on the season. Brad Peacock's 59th pitch. He was playing with fire during his 2.2 innings...

Astros win 6-5 in 10 innings. It makes up for that tough 1-0 loss in 12 innings last night.
Robbie Grossman's three-run homer was big. Jose Altuve had the game-winning sac fly.
5-7 record. Not too bad. Sets up the rubber game with the Rangers tomorrow afternoon.

Rangers win 1-0. Unbelievable. Way to waste that nice gem by Brett Olberholtzer.

They won this three-game series by winning a pair of 1-0 games, one of them in 12 innings.
LOL. We had only six hits while going scoreless in those two shutouts over 21 innings. That's pathetic.

Call up George Springer to hit third (starting in RF) and Jonathan Singleton to hit fourth (starting at 1B) RIGHT NOW!!!!
5-8 record. We have a formidable top three in the starting rotation but what's the point with this horrendous offense?

I don't know how Astros management can sit there with a straight face and be happy with hindering the progress of their top-rated prospects. Just because they don't want their MLB service time to kick in too fast. Having an extra year of club control we're stuck watching this crap.

You don't see "the good teams" not calling up young talent if it can help their ball club win games.

We may as well trade the first overall pick in the 2014 draft this June. We'll draft a good starting pitcher like Carlos Rodon just to see him play in the minor leagues for two or three, if not four years, a la Mark Appel (year number two for him). Seriously, if they are not going to help the big league team what's the point? Go dominate the minor leagues, make the minor league all-star team, win some minor league championships in front of 8,000 fans at the ballpark. That doesn't do any good for the Houston Astros.

George Springer will probably hit .320 with 42 home runs and 45 stolen bases this year: Another 40-40 year.
But he's not good enough to call up to the big leagues. Let him become Mr. Minor League hall of famer. Sigh...
