Do you have any idea what a CFA does?

Well they can do plenty of things... There's over 50 professions that tie directly to the CFA designation.
Portfolio manager, risk analyst, investment advisor, stock broker, sector analyst, trader.. Even work in the ethics department of a securities firm.
To name a few.
Why would I take the exams to become a Charter holder if I didn't know what it's used for? And if you're wondering how it ties to the CPA.. Financial statement analysis is a massive part of investing and risk analysis so having the CFA/CPA combo is incredibly valuable.
Also, for the record, you need the CSC to legally sell mutual funds in Canada, and the big banks pretty much have it is a requirement to get a branch position and some corporate positions. It's also a requirement for the CFP and I originally planned on doing financial planning and advising (personal finance) so I needed it.
Ended up doing resource management for the federal government.
So don't you worry, it's safe to say I know a little bit about this shit. It's not my first day, chief.
