they were showing stats of this season compared to the world series winning season years back. were hitting same stats + surpassing stats. as long as we stay healthy. id say are odds are great. hell people forget. we get stroman back in the playoffs too.

I feared having the Jays come into Arlington - They gonna be a tough out in the playoffs.

Playoffs ?

Nothing is guaranteed yet ... but if they make the playoffs which they are extremely likely to do... then yes tough .

I think people are sleeping too much on kc personally ... I. Hope the jays make the world series and win it ofc.... but there are some quality ball clubs out there

You're right.

I think it will be a very blue ALCS. They are easily the top two teams in the AL. Those Astros might be able to beat the Jays (likely playing them in the first round), but the Astros park plays to the strength of the Jays (lots of runs and in particular homeruns). Once we get to that point, I'd give the Blue Jays the edge. I don't think the Royals have that much of a pitching edge, if any at all. I would have been laughed off the forum if I said that before the trade for Price. Price and Cueto are a wash, which will make that game one a must see. Buehrle, Estrada, and Hutch are better than Volquez, Chris Young, and Ventura/Duffy. Guthrie isn't even worth mentioning because he is a complete gas can. If I was the Jays I would save Hutch for the home games in every series (obviously).

Plus, the Jays have the MVP and best player in the league (aside from Trout).

I'm gonna buy a package for the jays series if they make it ...

Go to one game and sell the other tickets for just enough to break even after all costs are said and done
