She should keep wearing those lucky high heels. Astros are 2-0 when she does. Just happened to be both of Scott Feldman's starts.

4/6/14: Astros field reporter Juila Morales shows off her lucky "winning shoes" on a day the club beat the Angels 7-4

The Astros host the Angels at 2:10 PM Eastern this afternoon: Jarred Cosart (1-0, 0.00 ERA) versus C.J. Wilson (0-1, 9.53 ERA)
It would be nice to split this four-game series and have a winning 4-3 record before the first road trip of the 2014 season.
After today the Astros have a six-game road trip. Three games at Toronto and three games at Texas. It's going to be tough.

Out-scored 41-11 and a 1-5 record in our last six games. We're lucky to be 3-5 on the season. Dexter Fowler was sensational the first three games, producing a multi-hit game in all of them, and hasn't been in the starting lineup since then with a serious stomach virus that hospitalized him.

"Today's the first day I was able to eat solid foods and I feel like I have some strength to do anything," Fowler said. "I think (returning Wednesday) is what we're looking at. Hopefully I'll be back in there It's just dependent on how today goes."

Dexter Fowler pinch-hit in the top of the 9th during last night's game and he grounded into a fielder's choice. It's possible he may return to the starting lineup tonight. Hopefully he can feel strong again and set the table at the top of the lineup. We need his run production and defense in center field.

It's going to be a very long season and I want to at least see some progress being made. I like what I see from Dexter Fowler (when healthy), Jose Altuve, L.J. Hoes, Jesus Guzman, Scott Feldman and that's about it. Even the bullpen has been struggling lately. I'm hoping when Jesse Crain returns at the end of the month that he'll provide the Astros with a reliable late-inning option. When healthy he's head and shoulders better than anybody we have in the bullpen right now.

Best case scenario: Scott Feldman continues to impress and Jesse Crain returns to his 2013 all-star form with the White Sox before he injured himself last year. It's a possibility that we'll have two amazing trading chips to use closer to the July 31 non-waiver trading deadline. There will be many contending teams looking for both starting pitching and bullpen help. Snagging a couple of good prospects wouldn't be a bad thing but at some point the Astros have to turn the corner and become a competitive team. They can't do that always trading away their best players.

I'm just going to enjoy the 2014 Astros season for what it is. Looking forward to every one of Scott Feldman's starts, in particular. There are only certain guys on this team, which I mentioned already, that make it fun for me to watch every game. I want to see more of the top-rated prospects being called up as well. At the very least George Springer, Mike Foltynewicz and Mark Appel should see some big league action this season. Jonathan Singleton, Domingo Santana, Lance McCullers Jr. and Carlos Correa will likely be called up at some point in 2015.

TL:DR version: If you're a hardcore Astros fan like me, you just want to move ahead to the 2016 regular season. Whichever player we draft number one overall in this June's MLB Draft will likely be in the big leagues by opening day 2016 if not during the 2015 season. Either way he'll just be one of several young players on the way up. Odds are that at least one, two or three of those highly-rated prospects will pan out and become solid players. Not every young man with talent turns out to be a bust.

Tonight's lineup at Toronto. Dexter Fowler is back. The Astros are 2-1 with him in the lineup and 1-4 without him.

1. Dexter Fowler (S) CF
2. Alex Presley (L) RF
3. Jason Castro (L) C
4. Jose Altuve (R) 2B
5. Chris Carter (R) DH
6. Marc Krauss (L) 1B
7. Matt Dominguez (R) 3B
8. Robbie Grossman (S) LF
9. Jonathan Villar (S) SS

I hope Lucas Harrell (0-1, 15.00 ERA) has a good start tonight. He got rocked in his first start giving up 5 earned runs in 3 innings. I'm still not sure what the point is starting Marc Krauss at first base. This guy isn't any good and has shown me nothing so far. He's 0-for-14 and hitting .000, with nearly half his at-bats being strikeouts this season. He's an error machine at first base or in the outfield. He's already cost us a couple games.

I have a problem when the Astros trot out garbage and they have better players in the minor leagues at those same positions...

Tonight's game will be airing on ESPN2 and CSN Houston in about an hour.

Brandon Morrow struck out the side to start the game. It's going to be another long night by the looks of it.

2-0 Blue Jays in the bottom of the 1st. Lucas Harrell's ERA is going to balloon to over 25.00 by the end of tonight's start the way it's going (already gave up two earned runs). His sinker is very flat, as it was in his last start, and he should be in the minor leagues right now. I'd send him down to iron out his control issues. If he doesn't shape up then release him.

Call up 2013 first overall pick Mark Appel to get some much needed big league experience. I don't care about his club control starting early. If he's a long-term answer in the starting rotation he's going to be paid good money down the road regardless if it's a year or two earlier than what the Astros would like.

At this point, I want to watch promising and talented young players with some potential who are fun to watch. Not these late-20s journeymen. How many more years will this team endure us to watching this? It's already been three straight seasons of 100-plus losses.

Two-run homer for Alex Presley. Five-game hitting streak also. The problem is they have been 1-for-5, 1-for-4 and 1-for-3 hitting games and his overall batting average is still mediocre early in the season. We're still down 5-2 in the top of the 6th. Looks like another loss and a 3-6 record is on the way. I don't know how I've been watching this game on the CSN Houston plus channel.

I'm about to watch the Houston Rockets game. Oh brother, I don't know if we'll even be close to a .500 record by June the 1st. I wanted to see this team flirt with .500 so I can enjoy their summertime games. I was thinking of attending a few games at Minute Maid Park in June and July. The stadium will be half empty.

4-6 record. I was shocked the Astros avoided the sweep at Toronto by defeating R.A. Dickey.

Robbie Grossman hit a two-run homer off Dickey in the top of the 5th and Jonathan Villar hit a three-run homer off Dickey in the top of the 7th. That was after R.A. Dickey was cruising along with a one hit shutout through four innings. Jason Castro added a solo homer off the Blue Jays' bullpen in the top of the 8th.

The Astros' shaky bullpen gave up three runs in the bottom of the 9th but held on to win 6-4.

Great pitching matchup tonight at Arlington, Texas: Scott Feldman (2-0, 0.66 ERA) versus Yu Darvish (1-0, 0.00 ERA)

Juila Morales should wear those neon green shoes again. At least until Scott Feldman loses a start. LOL
I'd like to see the Astros keep grinding away and keeping that .500 record within sight. Two under again.

Scott Feldman has already defeated two potent offenses already (Yankees, Angels). The Rangers are just as good, IMO.

One run may be enough to win tonight's game. Both starting pitchers are getting quick outs.
I'd love to see Scott Feldman reach 3-0 tonight. I want a 5-6 record more importantly.
The problem is Yu Darvish has that no-hit stuff and he's been pitching lights out himself.
The game just started not even 15 minutes ago and it's already in the bottom of the 2nd.

0-0 top of the 5th.

Scott Feldman (7 groundouts, 1 K) and Yu Darvish (6 Ks, 3 groundouts) do it in different ways but both are fun to watch pitch.

54 pitches thrown for Feldman and 51 pitches thrown for Darvish. If any team's bullpen has to come in they'll lose. LOL

Feldman has only allowed one hit. Yu Darvish still has a perfect game. Yep. I want to jinx it please...

0-0 in top of the 8th

Scott Feldman pitched seven scoreless innings. Two hits allowed (4 BBs, 3 Ks). He's going to remain 2-0 on the season it looks like. ERA down to 0.44

His pitch count was at 105 so he could be done for the night.
