Since I'm such a nerd and went to sleep early so I could wake up at 4am to watch the Blizzard Cup, and no one is online here atm I will talk to myself.
I want Cuddeyer, but I have a feeling he's going to stay in Minnesota. If that happens, O'Dowd needs to push hard for Josh Willingham. Similar type player to Cuddeyer, and would probably be a lot cheaper. He puts up similar, if not better numbers as Cuddeyer also. Unfortunately, I don't think he can play 3B so that won't solve the 3B problem like Cuddeyer potentially could. If the Rockies want to contend, then they need to upgrade on offense. Last year was pathetic. Otherwise, I'm certain the Dbacks will run away with the division.

According to Nick Camino of WTAM 1100 in Cleveland, free agent outfielder Josh Willingham has narrowed his long list of suitors down to four teams: the Twins, Indians, Rockies and Mariners.
If the Twins retain Cuddeyer, then it's probably safe to say that Willingham is out of their plans. And with Colorado being such an attractive place for hitters, I think the chances he's signed are pretty good.
Either way, it seems like Arenado is going to unfortunately get a real chance to break camp as the team's starting 3B..which I feel is going to be a huge mistake for his development.
I also think the Rockies should make a run for Marco Scutaro. He's an all around solid player who could play really any position.
Something like..
C: Hernandez
1B: Helton
2B:Lemahieu/Nelson/Herrera/EYJR/Barry Bonds/Jason Giambi/etc
3B: Cuddeyer/Scutaro
SS: Tulo
OF: Scutaro/Cuddeyer
OF: Fowler
OF: Cargo
If Willingham is signed then Scutaro at third and Willingham in OF.
