He only misses 50-75 games lmao, not only plays that many

you get what im saying.....

he loses alot of his value when he misses 1/3 to 1/2 the season.

nobody thinks the team got worse with the tulo trade. obviously reyes gets hurt all the fucking time too.

in order to really win a trade though, where youre giving up valuable prospects, you have to be able to make the postseason and give yourself a chance at the WS.

when they made that tulo trade, it was fairly obvious that the blue jays were gonna go all in and go after a big name pitcher. it woulda been pretty stupid not to do everything possible to make the postseason this year.

Price didn't even become available until after the Tulo trade happened lmao. It was good fortunes. Otherwise we would have a couple lower end dudes

hamels was still out there, price was still out there, the SD pitchers were potentially still available, and yes some second/third tier guys were still available.

im not saying they had a deal 100% ready for a pitcher when they made a move for tulo. i just feel very confident that when the tulo deal went through, the blue jays were gonna do everything they can to get themselves a big name pitcher, even if it means giving up a prospect like norris. once the rockies said yes, the blue jays were all in for this season.

if they wouldve made a move for tulo and then not followed up with any rotational upgrade, it wouldve been a huge mistake.

This.

You don't go after Tulo without trying to go after Hamels, Price, or any of the good free agent pitchers that were on the trade block.

Going after Tulo pretty much said they were going for it this year. Giving up Norris was tough, but how many teams can honestly win the world series twice in a row, let alone once?

If you got a chance to win, you go for it any time.

Sanchez and gibbons suspended. Horseshit Sanchez got suspended for that but varquez gets nothing for how many pitches he threw at batters. Fuck you mlb.
