it wouldnt have been worth it if the jays didnt also make the other moves they did to improve their rotation by getting an actual #1 and also improving their bullpen.

well its dependent on a few other variables as well.

i dont think the move for an upgrade at shortstop wouldve meant much without also getting an ace and shoring up the bullpen.

without price, i dont think you guys make the postseason. now i think you guys have as good a chance as anyone.



that can also be a bad thing, say he gets injured every year and plays 50-75 games a season. not completely out of the question with his injury history.

i still like the all in move though. the only way the blue jays could truly go "all in" was to make a major pitching acquisition as well though.
