I love watching the Rockies lose, particularly like they did last night.
Kershaw the first Dodger to finish with an ERA under 2.00 since 1966 I believe it was (he's looking at a 1.83 now, I think). He'll walk away with the Cy Young award and in my opinion ought to be in the MVP conversation.
EDIT -- Taking a quick look at the stats, here's what we've got in terms of WAR:
Kershaw -- 7.9
Goldschmidt -- 7.1
McCutchen -- 8.0
I think McCutchen wins the award because he plays everyday and his team is making the playoffs while Goldschmidt's is not but it worth noting he is only marginally better than Kershaw from a statistic point of view. You gotta figure a starting pitcher who pitches however many games allowing less than 2 runs in each game ought to win most all of them.
