He's alright, but whatever's in his head whether it's the gold glove or whatever, needs to get out and he needs to take his time and focus on the easy stuff. No, not every throw can be made, but don't throw so far away from 1B that there's no chance. If you're worried, don't throw it at all.
It's kind of odd that he would be making those mistakes this year. That's typical of younger players, but he's experienced enough where it doesn't make much sense.
